Woke up this morning, had a shower, wandered downstairs to grab some breakfast and... Its 1/4-filled a large (14" diameter, 10" deep) mixing bowl in about half an hour... Eep. *n
holy...is that a leak in your ceiling, we haev that in our bathroom, and for some reason it's also happening to the owner's bathroom BELOW us...strange must be the bathtub or something...
Maybe your shat got into it and blocked it and now its bursting, ewww... Don't get it in the electrics, thats nasty that, school had that last year, blew the whole building - luckily it was a small building!
If he's gone to get breakfast then that be his kitchen in which case yus the bathroom's above it. It's ok tho, I saw an episode of Postman Pat where this happened - you just need to get all your pots and pans underneath and find Mrs Goggins to switch them over when they fill for you - then Ted Glenn can come and fix it for you! (Yes I'm a spack). PS: did anyone else think this thread was going to be about condoms? or am I just odd..
Haha! I remember that one! And no, I didn't think it was going to be about condoms... I though it was going to be about socks...
That looks pretty bad no, you've just been spending too much time around penski.... either that or youve got something on your mind. I just thought it was about socks at first
haha class postman pat was awesome translated to welsh... but fireman sam was so much better "NORRRRRRMAAAAAAAAN!!!!" "Oh mam, mae gen i sosban yn sownd ar fy mhen i!! " AHAHAHAHHAHAHA (yes i do realise that only like 2 people can understand that...) i thought it was going to be a picture of his **** sock... and i still clicked. what does that say about me?? penski, hope you rent, and hopefully you can get it sorted quickly. thought my ceiling was leaking last week, but nowhere near like that... turns out my window has a leak and the moisture condensed on the ceiling. not likely to be your problem though, thats a mighty big wet patch
Its the central heating pipe from the boiler - at least thats what I hope it is. It is definitely something from the boiler. We haven't had central heating for the past couple of weeks and we had and are still getting hot water from the taps (It is insanely hot and smells odd but it always has...). I cleared out the bottom of the airing cupboard and found it with about 1cm of standing water. Left the airing cupboard door open and it dried out in about 90 minutes. The dripping stopped in around the same amount of time. All in all, there is maybe 3 gallons of water in the cieling, carpet and bowl I placed to catch the drips. I rent, so I'm lucky there - I'm currently waiting for the landlord to sort out a plumber to fix this. Ah well...Guess Law and I will have to get a second duvet to stay warm in bed or something... *n
It'll be hair that's blocked up the waste pipe from the shower, I'll bet. I had it at the digs I had when I was at Uni, the Landlord couldn't be arsed to sort it out at first which meant the plaster around where the leak was started to crack rather badly and fall off. Get it sorted asap!
