    Sooo this is effectively doing for CPUs what unified shaders did for GPUs as far as i can tell.

    Makes alot of sense, can't wait to see how things go with this but their easiest steps forward will be to make abstraction layer bullet proof so no-one need change anything to start using the chips initially.

    Sounds much like MIPS Warrior implementation ... multiple parallel resources are used either for best single-threaded performance (when feasible) or for multi-threaded operation as needed.
