Ok not a mod as such, designing a waterblock. I need some software that is easy to use, quick to learn, and what most lack, sufficient accuracy.

Ive tryed several. Truespace is one of the best so far, but as its designed for rendering scenes and not modeling objects, its not too good for signle objects, as it doesnt afaik let you print stuff to scale, which I need...
Word is ok, which is suprising, the autoshapes can be set to the right size, problem is with aligning shapes.

Sketchup is poor. I admit having only used it for half hour, but there is no method, that I know of, of making a object to exact size. You cant type in the size, and moving mouse to set size gives almost random numbers...

Theres others Ive tryed, but I cant remember them...

The idea is to deisgn the waterblock, print the design accuratly. Then glue it onto the block. This would save me from needing to draw out the design - my eyes really hate looking at rulers with 0.5mm spacing........

the waterblock has several peices which need to line up, the reson I need accuracy (but only to 0.1mm... )

I just need an app that will let me draw lines in 2d and show the distances.

    heh :p
I had one last try and managed to work out how..

I then managed to save it as pdf, move it to my mums pc and print it. The measurements are exact, at least as far as I can measure them.

Then I clicked the wrong button, by accident, not saving it.. :wallbash:
