    Hi all,

Basically I have a piece of old software that checks for parallel ports when starting, and if no parallel ports are found it will just crash.

Mine being a modern motherboard (MSI 945GT-A4R Speedster), does not have a parallel port.

So does anyone know of any software that can emulate a virtual parallel printer port please?

I have Google'd but all I can find is various virtual com port software...

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I understand that, but it is a side-project from work, so I don't want to alter the hardware (someone else's) or spend any money :(

    Thanks.

I believe you can make Bluetooth emulate a parallel port, I know it can do serial (I used it to help some guys out at uni run software on laptops)
