OK the problem i got is when I soldered my resistor's to my LED's project and then i light up the led using a 12v (this project requires a 12v) the solder itself starts to melt then eventually parts from the led pin therefore I got to resolder the stuff together. It seems that it is getting too hot, is this normal, what should I do? I was thinking adding vent's then a small fan just to keep the solder from overheating then falling off. Would like to hear what you guys think

Can you give us the specs of the LED in question? we need the operating/forward voltage and the current rating (mA) and the value of the resistor you used.

wow, a self correcting mistake. gets too hot and it blows its own fuse.
