Electronics Soldering LEDS in a row

    Whats the best method to make a led strip? Any advice would be appreciated. I've been thinking just bending the led prongs and soldering it to the one before it should work fine. but i figured i'd ask before i started.

    you could make a template thing like this (but obviously just a straight line)

    drill some holes into some wood (all measured out etc), put the leds in, bend the legs and solder. That would give you a pretty straight line and make sure they are evenly spaced.
    You could also try attaching/gluing the strip of leds onto some kind of backing to give it some strength.

    Just my suggestions.

    Great idea! May have to set up a small rig in the morning. well later in the morning after i have a nap. I'm using it for under lighting on my glass desk. Will be some in my latest mod to!
