Looking for a solid state MP3 player with the following:

    4 GB capacity
    Line in recording
    FM tuner
    FM recording
    AA or AAA replaceable batteries
    Drag and drop file management
    Don't care about video capability

Seems like newer players are moving away from these basic required features.

I think the Sandisk Sansa matches most of your requirements.
    Don't know of any others.

I know it's the internet, but you can still say please instead of just demanding we hand over information with your first post.

Not at all, I just find it intensely rude that someone would come onto this forum, register to ask for help, and then demand it in a tone that suggests we get paid minimum wage to please the OP. Even 5218 posts in, I still always try to be polite and greatful when asking for help, and I've given a fair bit (of help) on this forum since I joined. It doesn't take much to be polite, and personaly I'd be happy to see people who aren't receive no help.

I've got to agree with spec, often a little common courtesy goes a long way :)

The Sandisk doesnt have line in recording iirc.

    I'm with Spec too.
    Its nice to be nice.
And its just common courtesy to say please when asking for something, especially from a stranger. :)

    Zen V plus.
Does it all apart from the batteries, but they'd had to double the size if you wanted that :thumb:.

Thought I'd join in, agree with spec.

Sandisk, Creative Zen's, or iPod Nano will all do ou good, these are all OK models that are enough to make you happy. There are others like iRiver and stuff. Google in for some Mp3 player websites.
