I'm trying to run a japanese program on win7 64 but the pannels are showing rubbish. I've seen this before and its caused due to missing language packs but.... How do I install the japanese language pack as its not windows update.
N.S.S I did, and it keeps coming up with the bull about installing via MS update or no answer what so ever ! IF you can't post anything usefull Don't bother posting.
If you can't say something productive don't say anthing at all. Go to control panel -> clock, language and region options -> install/uninstall display languages I've done it on XP but the filepath is in vista so I'm not sure it'll be the smae in Win 7. You will also have to reinstall the program.
hi mate, i run some of my software in japanese, just because we work with a japanese sister company, anyway similar to the above i have turned on shift-jis, and ms-932 encoded in langauge and regional settings. But that didnt seem to work for me, so i used microsofts app local instead. Link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=16712f0b-a935-4140-9163-1514c89f6ddd Some software programs allow you to set the encoding in the text file, but app local should help. App local allows you to run the application in the encoding you wish, in your case Japanese. You can save your setting for future use, and create a shortcut, that way, when ever you use it, it will always be in Japanese. I have tried on Win XP, not sure about Win 7, but no harm in trying. Maybe worth a read of the faq.
Wow... some f*cking people... Anyway; if you actually try clicking a link and reading a bit you would see a nice little link that gives you a direct download of the files you need...
