    Hey all,

I'm looking to put together an i3, mATX board and probably a 5770 for the GF in a Fractal Design Core1000 case.

    - Would I get away with a Corsair CX430 for PSU? I'm presuming yes?

    - For cooling I'm guessing I'm not fitting a Tranquillo or some such in there so how loud is the stock cooler? Should I stick with stock or look for a smaller tower cooler? Temps shouln't really be an issue but noise will be.

    - Rear fan yay or nay? Thinking yes with the stock cooler and possibly no if I can fit a tower cooler (it should be able to push air out the back as the case is small).

As always your advice and suggestions are welcome :)

According to fractals specs you can fit a 135mm cooler in there so I would be inclined to swap the stock cooler for something better. Unless budget really is an issue I would also fit a rear exhaust depending on your choice of CPU cooler. I would personally recommend Akasa Apaches.

    1) Yes, 430W would be fine
    2) The stock cooler is fine for most lower power builds.
    3) Yes, one intake and one rear would be ideal. If you have the PSU in top of the case, then that will also act as an exhaust.
