Yep, I was enjoying myself in the local Public house, and upon returning to my car I had found someone had decided to put two dents in the back if my car... but it doesnt look like it was an accident. Why do some people feel the need to vandalise stuff and the repair company want £500+ to fix it because they would strip and respay a big part of my car.... so ill be waiting a while before calling someone from the yellow pages me-thinks I would put a picture up, but i dont have any web hosting or whatever it is (me is no0bie) but if anyone wants to see it, or is willing to host it for me
Arigato gozaimasu ToMmEhChan But i wont be home for a few hours... Im sitting in a really really boring 3hour lecture on microprocessors .....
I know the feeling flamika... while my car was parked in a multi-story car park in Hull, someone put a nice dent in the side. While it was parked outside a mates house in Upper Warlingham, someone keyed it all the way from the front to the back down the driver's side. While my car was parked at school it was broken into - passenger's window smashed in, paintwork damaged. Last month another person broke into my car, by jamming a screwdriver into the lock and popping the lock open. I am so fed up with people damaging my car, for no reason. I don't keep anything of any value in there anymore. UGH!
Im so glad it didnt get key-ed and the paintwork isnt damaged much (if any) But you spend out £20000 on a lump of metal and some punk goes and destroys it because of jealousy or its a cool thing to do infront of his mates.... Only another 2 years before i give the cursed beast back to my Company and move to Japan with my significant other. So life isnt so bad. Sorry to hear about your misfortunes with automobiles, The thing that makes iit worse, if you claim repairs from insurance you loose your no claims and pay more insurance costs, all because someone else wrecked you car! (although i could be wrong)
Someone's put a scratch in my bumper in the car park in work... really annoyed me too, one of the striking things about my car when I bought it was the unblemished body, luckily enough after some painful t-cutting it appears that their bumper came off worse, and my car is once again, unblemished
I loved the colour i picked for my car, and got it in a lovely Pearlescent paint (means nothing to me either) But i wasnt told about this treatment you can get which sprays the car with some protective layer.... So i have a nice Chip in the bonnet , probably from doing 120 on the motorway too many cameras and police around for that now. And when i wash it you can see loads of little scratches on the car.... kinda wish i never bothered with the damn thing But i dont have to pay insurance or tax so its cool
ahh man i hate it when people dent my car...oh wait...me no got a car! but seriously...i dunno y some kidz r so freakin' childish! Sorry 2 hear about yer car
That really sucks... If you want somehwre to host the images I will gladly help you out Mail me: andy@biosniper.co.uk Why do people find that damaging others stuff is fun??!
What kind of car is it Oh, and with paint there are 3 main choices... Flat Paint, cheap and easy to touch up. Metallic Paint, a bit expensive, quite hard to touch up, usually requires undercoat, colour, metalic effect, laquer etc.. Perlescant paint, very expensive, but nice look (like the coating of a perl (hence the name) and VERY hard, if not impossible to touch up without some major re-sanding and re spraying, however in saying that, usually has the hardest outer coat.
MGTF Roadster, brand new built to my choices ... I know, its a hairdressers car, a girls car, a tarts car..... BUT how many 20 year old students who do 2 days a week PART-TIME work do you know who own one?? (please dont kill me) There is also another paint, Monogram or something which is the REALLY expensive type The ladies love the car though but the girlfriend isnt too fond of the ladies who love the car..
There's flip-paint that is a strange jobbie, it looks different colours depending on which angle you look at it That's normally a good £4000 for a car so you don't see it on may factory-spec cars. Normally on highly modded "racer" cars.
One of the guys i work with has a tuscan(?) Its very very nice... But its black so only looks the nuts when its fresh from being washed (gets dusty/dirty way to quickly) But if i had a choice (hopefully i dont turn this into 'my dream car' thread) It would have to be a Red Dodge Viper with the two white stripes
my dad's old boss had a Astra GTI (this was in 1986) in flip paint. It was black and it turned a pinky colour in the light. My dad's company car was also an Astra GTI but just black. Brilliant car at the time. They reckoned the black cars went a bit faster than the white ones they had. Seems a bit odd that.
You know, I only just realised that its Butch who keys Vincent's Car.... Can't wait for the Vega Brothers Film
I scratched my lovely little Golf today, I was getting out the car and the wind took the door rigt out of my hand and whack, the door hit the wall right infront of where I live. Ok so it's only a little scratch, but my poor ickle Golf I know it's scratched on that side anyway, but I was hoping not to make it any worse. Darn this wind.
