Sorry to hear about your busted dremel.

Seeing that purple the other day went straight to my head and I didn't notice you was using a GTX285. I have a pair of EK Nickel/Acetal GTX285 blocks for sale ;) if you are interested give me a shout.

It's one of these if you want to check if it will fit your card. Shiny!

Now it´s time for update :D

Hii everyone! The project has received a name Somnium Purpurea!
(If anyone knows what that means you get a little gold star haha)

Do apologize for that I have not updated the build log.
I've bought a new dremel but this time it was not genuine and it's clearly quite a big difference
But now for some pictures and other things

My plexiglass plate which I got today:

Now to work as I have done today.
I have sanded a heldel to get my new back page. and here are the results:

And now for my idee to do so that my back side looks to be original:

What I have used to secure the Biltema Steel epoxy. And I can say that it is so incredibly hard. right now I did a test in order to pry loose aluminum piece, but it did not go after the chassis was bent instead.

I will try tomorrow to sand away any excess glue and make sure my new back plate before I attach it to.

    Hi all a small update!

    Hi all!
I have had little problem with money for the project and therefore it has stood still.:wallbash::miffed:
but now there will soon a small amount and I will get the project again:D

What has happened but I do not have any photos of is that I have tested five different pieces of epoxy adhesives. Unfortunately, none of them worked. but now after several hours of searching, I found this:rock: :

    Some small facts about it:

    Uhu plus endfest 300

    High-strength two-component epoxies

    Materials

Metals, glass, reinforced porcelain, ceramic, wood, marble, stone, concrete, glass and thermosetting plastics, rigid PVC, rubber, plastic foam as Styrofoam ®.
Not suitable for bonding large areas of glass.

    Processing

Surfaces must be dry, dust and grease. Smooth surfaces roughen. Binder and hardener in a 1:1 ratio (equal to long threads) mix. Self-adhesive on one side, apply both sides with coarse material. They fit perfectly, without pressing.

    Note warnings on the packaging.

    Pot life:
Depending on the quantity and ambient temperature. At room temperature about 2 hours.

    Cure:
Curing time is temperature dependent, with the ultimate strength can be increased by heat (not above 200 ° C - see table).

    Curing temperature strength
    20 ° C 12 h 1200 N / cm 2
    40 ° C 3 H 1 800 N / cm 2
    70 ° C 45 min 2000 N/cm2
    100 ° C for 10 minutes in 2500 N/cm2
    180 ° C for 5 min N/cm2 3000

    10 N/cm2 = 1kg/cm2

This is where it all for me to be ordered on Monday and hope I get it in near future
(Hope you will keep my fingers crossed with me)

and last but not least, my incredibly ugly signatures that I have done:waah::

    Which is better?
If any kind soul wants, to make me a nice signature i will be so happy :)

I prefer the second one, The b look kind of akward being the only one stylized on the first one.
