Xbox 360 Sonic the hedgehog 4 [360/PS3/Wii]

    Thought there would be a thread about this.

    After more than a decade of crappy 3D Sonics and a few good-at-best 2D rollercoaster sonics Sega have decided to take a page out of Capcoms book and make a 2D sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles entitled Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Epsiode 1.

    Consoles: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and 1 mystery platform (probably iphone)

    With Sega's past I've learned to be catious about a new Sonic game but they seem to generally be trying their best to appeal to fans of the megadrive releases so I think they might actually get this one right!

    For some reason though they've mentioned it will include the homing attack which makes little sense to me and moticon controls on Wii/PS3. Optional I hope...

    Looks awesome - shame it's not on a platform I own. :(

    Wouldn't be surprised if it was the iphone, but I wouldn't want it on there.

    I have the original Sonic the Hedgehog for Genesis, and I really liked Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast. I even own Sonic Adventure 2. I've played most of the other Sonic games, too (Spinball, anyone? :D). I just hope that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will be more challenging, like the older games.

    I'm sooooo giddy for this, can't wait! Shiny new/old Sonic.. what could they possibly get wrong? :D

    So SEGA have run out of ideas again ... gota pitty the guys who keep going back to a charachter who was created soley to counter mario in the 90s.

    I loved Sonic 1-3 and Sonic and Knuckles, the 3d ones never did it for me, I will buy this!!
