Must admit I;m very impressed with the SE phones ive had and the P900 looks a whole lot better than the P800, the blue keypad is very nice. Now get some movies on that thing! :D

Is it basically a half way house between a full on PDA and a phone?

Very nice phones, a bit rich for my blood though so I'll have to stick with a T610 :p

After having used phone + pda for a long while, the P900 is a fantastic bit of kit. It really is a half way house between both, and combines what I think are the most useful features of both. Like a PDA, I can have all the details of all my contacts... but unlike a pda, I can touch the screen and call them right from the contacts page! Plus, SMS is a lot faster when you can use handwriting recognition to text! :dremel:

Oh, and it syncs Contacts and ToDos over Bluetooth with my other SE mobile and my Mac. Mmmmm :)

Oh yes gotta love doing SMS with handwriting

Now if only the P900 supported memory stick pro I could have sold my Ipod and used my P900 for everything :grr:

Very nice phone there.... I was torn between that, and the MPx200 (which won, due to cost (ie. none.) and the fact it was directly MS compatable and also cause I had a lot of software that would run on it)...

I actually think that SE P800/P900 are better phones if you want to get the line of phone/pda even bluryer... But I deffinately know that phone cum pdas are deffinately the way forward.... screw 3g and all it's malarky...

That was a mistake I'd say, quite a lot of people I know have been turned off buying them because of that...

Hopefully it will be implemented in a revision...

If it were, I'd have one in a flash...As it is, I got a t610.

    Oh yes that phone rules!
I'm getting one in a few months when they lower in price to replace my T610.

    p900 bah,

Don't get me wrong it's a good phone and well spec'd, and I even thought about getting one but.
But I've been put of by the so called 'smart' phones after i got my SPV (last December), which wasn't a bad phone, but i think it just tried to do too much too soon.

Which is why i went for the nokia 6600, which i feel is less pretentious that the p900.

which yes is another smart phone but with the money i saved I can get myself a ipaq / palm to do everything that the p900 can do and more. (my 6600 cost me £19.99 for upgrade, p900 would be atleast 200+ on the contract i'm on).

You do need a mass haulage vehicle if you want to take your 6600 anywhere though :D
