    Is it just me that doesn't want a console that "blurs the lines between entertainment and life"? It's like this obsession with Facebook/Myspace/Livejournal/del.ico.us/Twitter integration into everything under the sun - I don't want it! If others want it, fine, but at least give me the option, and let me turn it off!

    I also find their justification for the name as bad as the justification Nintendo had for calling the Wii the Wii. The fact that Hirai could say that with a straight face without cringing makes me think he should be an actor, rather than a Sony exec.

    i wonder how well this will run along side the ps3/4 Like being able to continue playing between devices. ATM there is very little "synergy" between all Sony products especially with PSN purchases.

    I think just calling it PlayStation Life sounds better. Vita just makes me think of health food products.

    I wonder if the name is an Acronym which was "VISTA" and the S stood for "Security" and they just decided to leave it out.

    I've still got a PSP kicking around here unused for years, its a pretty decent bit of kit, it's just there were no good games for it...

    Depends what you call a "good game" really. There are lots of "good games" out for the PSP, but most of them are RPGs... :)

    the thing is with the psp most of the games are rehashed versions of the PS3 games

    They already have a thing called Playstation Life on the PS3. Dunno what it is, I've never used it.
