Hello Guys :thumb: Hope every one is happy :)

I Have this laptop Sony Vaio VPC-EA16F ( After F Comes A or G They are Same But Different Languages software packs but same hardware )

Intel i5-520M Processor On HM55 Chipset With Memory Bus 1066 MHz And 500 GB Serial ATA, 5400 rpm

    My Question is..

1- Can I replace Memory With 4GBX2 1066 DDR3 and laptop work with it ? And I don't Think that it could work with 1333 because the factory is 1066

2- The Hard drive, Can it be replaced By a 750GB 2.5" 7200rpm And Works ?

Or there is limits due to Sony Vaio Brand, OR Chip Limits ( Motherboard support ) ?

    Thanks :hip:

As long as its in 2.5 form factor, and it's sata, it should work. If you wanted some mega speed, grab a SSD.

CK, just did a quick check for you, Your laptop will accept a Max of 8GB (2*4GB), so long as it's "DDR3 1066MHz (PC3-8500) 204-PIN SODIMM" If you get anything higher it should still work, but will clock it's self down to 1066MHz.

    Hope that helps.

Buddy I'm speechless :thumb: thanks a million time for your help :)

The problem that the stores got the 1333 and the 1066 is rare or they rise the price due that, so I will check if I can get the 1066 with fair price if not then I would go with the 1333 and hope that the laptop down clock it not can't read it :)

    Update :)

The Seagate HD IS A LEGEND :D this drive is magical ;) just like an SSD but lots of space ;)

also i added ddr3 1333mhz rams and the lap downstep them and worked perfect with no problems ;) so any vaios on this series you can update with no problems ;)
