Soulfly/Ill Nino - San Diego

They are playing Canes Bar and Grill here in San Diego. For all those that have no idea what this is... GREAT venue, small with a bar/restraunt, and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Makes it a most amazing venue for sure. If any BTers are going from SD let me know, ill be there for sure

 

Unfortunately don't live there. However, despite not really being a fan of Soulfly they put on a kick ass live show. Saw them at Ozzfest a couple of years back and was very impressive. Especially when Corey Taylor appeared to do 'Jumpthe****up'.

 

LOL, i got to experience the first time they ever played that song live together - they were in LA and Slipknot was working on Iowa. Me and my buddies when absolutely insane for that, lots and lots of fun

 

Tell me about it! I was on the outside (not a mosher) but i still got a bit of a beating.

 

I saw Soulfly ages ago- I think it was their first date ever in the UK- in 1998. They were pretty good, they were supported by Cold (pretty good) and Limp Bizkit (who had just released 3$ bill y'all).

Was a good night as I recall!
