Hi all Can someone please advise me? i'm looking to buy a new soundcard and 5.1 surrond speaker system for my desktop computer, iv'e been looking but cannot come to any conclusion as to whats best to buy. My motherboard is a P8p67 pro, some advise would be a great help.
Well Sound card wise a Asus sonar is a good choice DG or DX2. I do not believe in 5.1 systems under 300-400 pounds with real HiFi speakers. I find that a good set of Bookshelf speakers and amp will give much better sound quality. @Bindi: -Why 'Don't' the ROG boards come with the Xonar built into it? As now, I'm stuck using pants onboard sound, which sounds so flat, and probably sounds worst than Argos best Alba Hifi?...
Aye iv'e had enough with onboard sound, I want a 5.1 system that I can set up in the small room that I have my desktop in.
