The sound it nice better than the Sonic Fury in my opinion. As for the drivers well when I had one (when they came out :eeek: ) the drivers were rock solid but there was quite alot of cpu overhead and this effected fps and they droped around the 5-8fps. They have been updating the drivers but I dont know if they speeded it up, they probebly did :)

As for playing Music(MP3/CD) the Audigy rocks! Get the right WinAmp plugins and is sounds very very sweet :naughty:

The Audigy is not true 24bit, it processes things internally at 16bit/48kHz. Sorry to shatter your placebo sonic medication. ;)

True but it still sounds better than every other £50 to £60 sound card :) that and its the only real option for people without stupid amounts of money to spend on a sound card that dosnt even support DX ;)

Oh and you have to have the speakers to go with it, not cheap and nasty computer ones :)

at school we had audiophile cards (cant remember which ones) we got so annoyed with the damn things we sent them back and swapped them for 4 sblives and 2 copies of the exs24 sampler for logic. the sblive is a good card (could do with asio drivers though) i also recommend the audigy (only with the new drivres though:D )
