    Hi all...

I am trying to get to the bottom of the temperture readings my system gives...

    I have...

    Soyo P4X400 Dragon Ultra Platinum
    Pentium 2.4b
    1x OCZ 512 DDR
    Hercules Radeon 9700 Pro

    The readings I get are

    43c
    35(ish)c
    11c

I thought that they were CPU, Board and Case in theta order, but someone said that is a very low temp for a case...

Does anyone with MoBo experience know which reading is which?

Or what they are if I have it completely wrong?

    Cheers,

    Javen

I think the highest one if definitely CPU, the medium one is board\case and the third one is an unused sensor judging by the reading.

Yup, Top one is CPU, Middle one is mobo chipset (system) bottom one ignore.

There is a winbond sensor on my NF7-S that allways reads 117C!! they all do (or most) and its jsut worth ignoring.

Is the ambient temp in your room less than 11C? because teh case temp is not going to be less than ambient with air cooling.

    I don't think its 11c...

I should have guessed really based on the fact that MBM only reports the two as being useful sensors...

I just wanted to try to get the most out of my system...

    Cheers,
