...and you're so proud of this observation that you felt the need to repeat it verbatim? Or do you reckon we missed it the first time?
More that I think the population is too dead and the demographic is too shallow. It's a handful of people talking about the same few games week after week. And even sort-of popular games (look at even the top 10 pc games on metacritic) have very little discussion or no mention at all. I would think at least the new Dragon Age would be talked about, LoG2 doesn't even have a thread, etc.
Well I can't help with the conversation about the demographic of Bit-tech... I don't come on here very often anymore to really know what the group's like. On the topic of Space engineers. I don't really see a future in it. The game engine is pretty limited(unless they can do a lot of improvements to it) and having any number of ships around just kills the simulation rate. Also, it's just boring! Build a ship... crash it into something.... build another one. Even with the expansion that they plan, where you just wander endlessly finding other people's ships and stations. Why? I enjoyed Minecraft for a while. Mostly playing on the bit-tech server but that game had more depth than this one. I'm going to take a vacation from it. Maybe it will be better when I come back.
I suggest you leave the forum then. Find pastures new, where toxic trolls are welcomed. You'd probably fit in well at 4chan?
You have been more toxic and troll like than I have. Was my critique of the games forum a bit too close to the bone?
http://blog.marekrosa.org/2015/02/space-engineers-planets-oxygen-directx_18.html Lookin' good Are you ever going to quit derailing the space engineers thread for no reason?
That is an interesting blog, oxygen should be a good addition to the survival mode, especially when combined with the recent armour damage changes. My ships have a lot more 'buckle' in them before they break apart now, makes capital ship battles much more 'BSG like'. I imagine you'll be able to program the new sound blocks to set off alerts once you have a hull breach I picked up Medieval Engineers early access yesterday, very cool, the potential oozes out of it. Many in the community were worried SE would suffer with ME in the works, but I think, like some of the other Marek Blogs, it will be a good thing for both games and SE will benefit hugely. ME has the 'block in block' feature, and I can't wait for them to add that to SE, let alone the enhances destruction physics.
