Space Marine Vs. Half-Life 1 Gordon Freeman

i think gordon's flashlight is built into the HEV suit....

yes, BUT, you have the flashlight as soon as you get the HEV suit. and in the original game, i'm sure the suit said "battery depleted" when it ran out of juice.

yeah it's just freeman mike, and i wondered that myself in doom 3 (would it be so damn hard to get some tape or cloth and attach the flashlight to the bloody pistol?!)

 

Gordon wears glasses, no self respecting marine would attack a man in glasses!

 

then take id take em off first then attack him

 

Something just tells me that the Space Marine would charge and Gordon would wimper like a girl, but something would happen causing the Marine to trip and fall on a large spike or something just as silly .

MASTER CHIEF

is the marine from doom 3 the same as the one in alien v predator ? no one man cvan be THAT unlucky ? surely ?

 

Gordon Freeman and Space Marine would whoop Master Cheifs ass like a little school girl. One frequents teleporation and risky experiments, the other frequents hell enough to know the guards. Master Cheif would get owned...

fergit the bfg, it would take about 3/4 of master chief's shields away

 

they would all kick jack carters ass (far cry) as he dies after about 4 or 5 shots depending on the gun

 

I think the question is about the man-not the weapons. So the whole questions of BFG vs Crowbars is stupid. The marine is used to conflict and is attracted to the way of life imposed by the military. Gordon is just a smart guy caught up in events beyond his control. Both have seen the rear end of things, and came through (no thanks to you guys for killing them so many times). But Gordon has had to push is limits way past what an ordinary man has to, while the marine is doing a job. Granted in hell. Gordon wins-for fighting his way out, dispite the agents trying to sabotage him.

 

i think i killed gordon waaaaay more times than i killed the space marine, mainly through fall damage and tricky sections when u needed to be carefel and im naturally reckless

Are we talking about original space marine (Doom/Doom II), who is unable to look up & down or jump..!?

 

That would be a yes. Freeman has the brains and the strategy on his side, the marine is tougher. I can't decide.

Laser guided rocket propelled grenade, quick weapon switch to 9mm 30 round clip automatic rifle with underbarrel grenade launcher.

Results: One laser guided rocket, then a barrage of AR grenades.

By the way, voice of reason, there is no way those two would ever fight.

Ahhh... but don't forget - space marine dude didn't need to aim in doom 1 and 2... just need to see them
