Oooooh, a beaver beanbag. I can only imagine what marketing genius figured that IT managers would jump at the chance for one of those. I need a tool to chew through the dam and open up the data river? Uh, the beaver builds the dam, guys. Idiots.

How about a fifth of single-malt scotch, guys? I'd call for one of those.

you've got to at least admire the creativity :) Even if it BS at least they try.

Now for me, 90% of my spam appears to some from people for whom English is not their first language. The worst thing is when none native English speakers make unsolicited sales calls. I mean, there's no way in hell that I would buy anything from you, I can't understand a damn word you're saying.

I don't mean to go off on a rant here, but the same is true for practically all fast food places around here too. Why the HELL are the people that have the most trouble with speaking and understanding English, and actually keying in my order the ones that are doing it?! I don't understand that. I mean, around here, there are probably 10 qualified out of work MSCEd IT professionals fluent in Java, JSP, C++ and Project Management willing to take each available fast food job, and I can't imagine them having worse grammar or comprehension skills.

    feh,

    S.

PS, linear, you're an IT manager too :) Have you seen the CDW commercials on TV where all the dumb users and managers come to their IT manager with the ways they are going to cause havoc? Does that PERFECTLY describe your everyday activities and perils? It does mine ;)

Linear's secret is revealed... he is the BOFH!

    behold the evidence...

"Yeah, but no-one else calls it that in their brochures. And you get a couple of bottles of 40-year old scotch with every one as a product endorsement."

"Make it half a dozen with each one and I'll take 10."

    LOL
