Ok i have a sheet of plexi or acrilic, think its plexi though(never bought it, thats why im not sure what it is) i want to try and make a front bezal, not to cover up a drive just a replacement bezal but see through.Anyways what would be the best way to make one ?? i have to heat the plexi with a heat gun to bend it in the two correct places then drill out some holes for some screws to hold it in place from the inside and thread the holes.

    Any tips???

If you bend it, like a sharp cornered U it won't cover the front over the full width. There will be unsightly gaps at the edges. You could make three strips, one for the front (148mm x 43.2mm) and two drilled "legs" that you glue on from the back so you can mount it. There is somewhere a posting at this site that explains how to do the gluing.

If you want it to look a little more sturdy get two 1/4-20 (M6) threaded rods. Cross drill and tap the rods for 6-32 at the right position. Then mount them as legs to the front strip with 1/4-20 (M6) nuts of your choice.
