Not sure if this is the correct place for this thread, but does anyone know where I can get some blanking plates from? For the back of the PC, E.G. PCI slot.

You can usually find PCI blanking plates in literally any old computer that's lying around...

Ask in the for sale / wanted forum. Or if you want them for free / virtually free, do as phaSe says - most computer shops have loads of the things cluttering the place up.

Personally, I gut old 386 / 486 / P1 computers, make the CPU into a pretty keyring, and send the chassis to the metal recycling co. The main reason I do it is to get at the blanking plates, spare sheet metal for mods, and the screws.

I get the PCs from Uni, they're always chucking out the dead / totally outdated ones.
