    Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to update my monitor set-up from 21.5 LG and 22" Dell 2209WA and donno what I should focus on when looking for new monitors. The main use for the PC is gaming and software development so colour accuracy isn't the highest priority. Currently have RX480 GPU.

    Size: 24-30"
Price: Up to £1000 (could squeeze to £350 per monitor)

    1. Single 4k Vs 3 1080p monitors in eyefinity vs 3 cheap 4k monitors
    2. Is 70Hz, 144Hz worth it?
    3. Is free sync worth it?
    4. Are curved monitors worth it?

I know currently the RX480 would struggle to drive one 4k monitor at max settings in most games never mind three 4k monitors but I'm viewing this as a long term purchase and one day the GPU hardware will be there.

    Any advice welcome

Update, Just placed an order for three Acer XZ271 monitors.

Was torn between that and Liyama ProLite XUB2792QSU-B1 or forgoing IPS/VA and just getting a standard TN monitor. It's amazing how few monitors don't have a Vesa mount either.

Another question, has anyone any experience or advice on monitor arms? Thinking of getting Vonhaus triple Monitor Mount. I'm concerned that the arm isn't strong enough for the weight of three monitors.
