Don't you know anybody over here who could send it to you? Even if they were just to send the tin itself

Aye, I thought about that, but the overseas tins would look funny in my collection. You guys have the big ratings labels where we have the not-so-big ESRB ratings.

Viva Piniata had a special edition case, although it wasn't a tin - it was a plastic molded thing.

Well yeah. But let's face it. We're not talking about a collection of classic/sports cars worth millions here.
At the end of the day... a [game] tin, is a tin, is a tin...

Didn't I see one of the Splinter Cell games in HMV come with a limited edition balaclava? I kid you not!!!!

Most of the special editions these days tend to come in a tin case and offer a few extra bits such as paper maps, booklets/comics, making of DVD and maybe a figure. I seem to recall Stalker, Quake 4 and Bioshock for the PC recently plus Halo 2 & 3 for the X-box just off the top of my head. Most of the time its worth waiting as they special editions tend not to sell too well, last time I checked Stalker SE was on Amazon for £12.99 whilst Game wanted £20 for the standard edition.

I got the Collectors Edition of Bioshock with the Big Daddy figure, quite nice, but I took it upon myself to mod it to have a finer wire cage around its head (it was too chunky for my liking) as well as other cosmetic changes to keep it in scale. Plus, whilst I will probably regret this, I decided that the viewports on the helmet looked a bit naff just painted yellow so I chopped of the head and hollowed it out so I can put multi coloured LED's inside. I've found a source that sells LEDS with a short flexible fibre optic attachment just the right size that can display red, yellow or green from each LED depending on how you apply the current. I just have to wait until I can convince the wife to let me buy them. If I ever get it finished I'll post a picture.

But if it's not from my region, then it doesn't fit in. Besides, I play my games as well. I really don't feel like trying to buy overseas versions of games that I may or may not have and then just try to sell the disc. That one would suck.

I did get Prey Limited Edition in the mail today but it's used so maybe someone out there can answer my questions about it. Did the tin come with a slipcover of any kind or was it just a tin with nothing else? Also, is the figurine holder supposed to fit inside the indent in the package because mine is too big for it. :(

I should be getting Oblivion and PDZ CEs in the mail shortly. If the package has a place to hold the gold septim, I'll be looking to purchase one. So if any of you still have yours and might be willing to part with it, let me know. Won't be needing it if it doesn't fit somewhere in the packaging though.

I know that the PC version of STALKER has one... I'm even using it in my design GCSE coursework.

Bumping this up because I've been constantly adding to my collection. Anyone know of anymore 360 games that came with a dust cover, tin case, or any case that wasn't just the standard plain one? I'm hoping to track down every single game on the list along with the missing gold septim from Oblivion.
