You're not going to keep the intake fan open like that, are you? I don't think that's safe for a 4-year old's hand.

I think I mentioned it on the first page, but it's getting
this fan grill. I'm also going to put a tight metal mesh behind the grill.

Either that or I'm going to replace it with a metal fan an leave it exposed. J/K

    Thanks for the replies.

Anyone got anything on that failed fan circuit?

hmm.. if that's for your 4 year old son, you better put something over that fan.. coz you dont want him to get hurt, do you?

I'm sure he thought of that being the loving father he is. I am sure he's loving considering what he's doing for his kid. :eyebrow:

well, it looks like things are on hold for a while.

The 120mm spiderman fan grill I am going to use has not arrived at the shop i had order it locally, and now that I've waited for 2 weeks all of the online retailers are out of stock. I should have known better than to think that the hole in the wall would get it in for me, but I figured WTH I'll support a local business. Last time I do that.

If anyone has one, or knows of a dealer that has one other than the one online shop that thinks they are worth $40. Please let me know.

Didn't see that coming. Thanks Fly.

No pictures today, but some work done.

I've been holding off working on this until I found a fan grill. I bought one used from someone over at [H], and should have it shortly so I returned to the project.

All the outside metal is sanded and primed. I still have to do some cleaning up of the spider cutout, but very little. Some of the edges looked good until primed, and now I'm not too happy with them, no biggie.

Hopsefully the grill will be here tomorrow. That way if I can get it all painted black tonight, I can start taping off for the red tomorrow.
