Deus Ex Human Revolution. which ending would you choose? (if you can only choose one) Hugh Darrow - Broadcast the truth, public will see dangers of augmentation, will stop any further research into augmentation. David Sarif - Blame Humanity first as terrorist act, sidestepping all anti-aug forces and develop augmentation without limitation. William Taggart - Setup a committee in wake of this biochip incident and pose rules to augmentation researches, limiting its research with a watchful eye. Destroy the Station - No one will learn the truth from this incident, and no one will be able to spin this in their favour, let humanity take its course.
The ending I picked at first was William taggarts one, But I watched them all, the Sarif one was very freaky with the baby n all
this thread is about which one would YOU choose, if you can only choose one. i would chose Taggart's. regulations are the way forward.
my last day with the internet for 3 weeks and that's how you treat me....I believe you have earnt my user title...
Yey Marine (I'll ignore the wink), Fuss is a needy socialite that needs love dammit! BTW it's only £23
http://steamcommunity.com/id/The_Paranoid_Android/stats/DXHR Playtime past 2 weeks: 30.2h Reason good enough ?
I spent 43 hrs on my first playthrough. Was well worth the 27 quid I spent. Oh and I chose Sarif's ending. Didn't like the over-regulatory vibes I got from Taggart.
Not sure if it was working on grey death but certainly sounds like something related. Hopefully Eidos will be doing a sequel so we can find out more.
Considering the achievement is called The D Project, i guess it is more like the creation of JC Denton (who is a AFAIK a clone optimised for augmentation).
I found the whole ending to Deus Ex HR very interesting, rather than having the encyclopedic knowledge of conspiracy theories that the original had it skirted around the Illuminati alone and really concentrated on the morality of trans-humanism. Personally I chose the destroy the station as my personal ending, I felt that although I agreed in part with Taggert, and to a lesser extent I liked the idealism of Serif I simply couldn't hand the world to either the Illuminati, or to corporations. Taggert didn't just want regulation, he was Illuminati, he wanted power, otherwise regulation would have more merit.
I went with Willy T. I felt Sarif wasn't trustable, and the un-checked corporations would get away with creating even more dubious military-esq augs. And as much as I hated the Humanity Front (or whatever they're called), it wouldn't be fair to place all the blame on them. Humanity Front... well they're just a bunch of dicks so I couldn't choose them. Destroying the station: pretty pointless, no one learns any lessons and all your work throughout the game is for naught. I watched all the endings but was pretty disappointed with how they were done and basically how similar they all were, just different video clips.
someone chose Huge Darrow! why? he's reasoning doesn't have any bases. augmentation is destroying humanity because of lack of regulation. Darrow's solution is to basically stop all progress. why would anyone want that?
