So I realised my older sister is completely obsessed with Spongebob Squarepants (Heavens knows why :S) so I had a fabulous idea to change an old case into.. a Spongebob PC My initial idea to begin with is just to find a load of sponge, dye it Yellow, stick it around the case "Model a nose as well." then add other details "i.e. the clothing, eyes, mouth etc." It's a very, very basic and easy mod, I know, but we all got to start somewhere One thing is concerning me though... I'll be leaving the fan air vents open for airflow, but will the sponge, in some way, prevent heat escaping, or store it up? I'll make a comments page, where, if you can, clear this up for me Snacks out

I'd suggest wrapping the case in some foam from a fabric supply store. Something soft like a sponge but still robust enough that you can gouge some nice big air holes out of swiss cheese style, then dye it to your hearts content. Maybe replace the case sides with mesh, so that air can come and go from the case...while still being somewhat rigid. Don't mean to step on your idea, but how bout turning the case sidways so his face is on the side of the case? then make some full size, robust legs and arms! A'la the full-size Bender mod that looks sweet. Cool idea, can't wait to see it.
