The weather last month was just plain sucks, cold, warm, rain, snow just everything. And now I was able to get the pond up and running. New native plants coming back. Sitting by the fire with a glass of wine with the stream running. How about you, what are you looking forward to doing this Spring season?
Personally been trying to get outside more, at least one walk a day and try to take a book with me to get a little bit of reading done outside as well. As the weather improves hopefully that'll continue, don't have a garden where I currently am but got a park nearby and hopefully later this year move to somewhere with a garden to take advantage of
The wife has just planted her seeds for this year, just in trays in the garage so far. I've got a bit of a project in the works to build some planters for all of them to go into. Hopefully the garden is going to look pretty good this year.
Now what we have here! Good luck with your future garden guys! I'm sure you'll love taking care of plants, not just your wives.
Btw, anyone has tips or suggestions for Denver - Las Vegas road trip? I'm following this itinerary https://www.10best.com/interests/explore/las-vegas-denver-road-trip-loop-2-week-itinerary/. Looks like I can avoid crowded areas doing road trip so I'm deciding if fam and I will do this in May.
Never thought I'd say this but: Looking forward to doing some lawn mowing and hedge trimming with the petrol hedge trimmer. All fueled by a couple of ciders.
Hopefully get the shed properly weatherproofed and then get the inside sorted with some insulation, walls, workbench, storage etc.
Nope. Cider pretty much died in the US at the time of prohibition. It's alcholic apple juice essentially.
A farm less than a mile away, planted a new orchard last year. I'm hoping they will start cider production soon.
I have discovered that during hedge trimming with my cider petrol powered hedge trimmer, if I pretend I'm Vasquez holding a Smart Gun, it becomes a lot more fun.
