Must admit I would be let down by the vinyl sticker approach - mainly because it doesn't even reach the edges.
I'm much more impressed by the project FEAR effort because the vinyl was folded over the edges of the panel + top - giving a very clean appearence. (and I'm not just kissing butt here! honest!*)

I do realise that getting the vinyl to fit around such a curvy case would have been pretty impossible - and airbrushing on such a scale would push the price even higher, but still feel it's been poorly implemented.

It'd be cheaper to buy their 'normal' case and make the design yourself! :hehe:

See, if I could just buy the artwork and then make myself a caseskin, that would be a great sell. But otherwise, their application leaves something to be desired.

£300 premium for just a couple of stickers seems a little high to me...

I would suggest that the bulk of that £300 would be part of the licensing deal...

Personally I like the design and don't care if it's "just a sticker"...
if I had a alienware case (which I'd love to) I'd be thankfull for a
protecting sticker cause the plastic which gives the case this tight
look is known to atrackt skratches...
But therse a good point in Flibblebot's post:
    ALIENWARE IS WAY OVERPRICED :grr:

Yup I bet they are paying lucas 5-10% of the final sale value for the "honour" of using their images.

    Hahahaa, £300 for stickers?

They could make absolutely crap loads of money if they started selling their cases seperatley, they are so funky :)

Alienware machines are simply over-priced designer-ware - for those who have disposable income and think that high-performance equipment will make up for their lack of skills.

I think this would only work if it was just the case and it was budled with a copy of KOTOR2
