    Due for "paper" release September 10th on paper, retail availability expected for Windows 7 Launch. Proposed specs are:

    RV870 "Cypress" (5870): 1600SP 256bit 80TMU 32ROP

    RV830 "Evergreen" (5850): 800SP 128bit 40TMU 16ROP

    R800 "Hemlock" (5870x2): 3200SP 256bit 160TMU 64ROP

    Phew, the cards will be closed in the back. I hate designs which exhaust hot air into your case. :nono:

    Wow, Dual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

    Wonder if they could all run at once.......

    Gonna be an interesting Generation, with DisplayPort coming in, and HDMI Becoming part of reference designs.

    Already planning a 5870 x2? wow lol, sure its not a 4890 x2 thats on the way/

    Still, I might be getting one so I hope it shows good preformance at good prices :)

    The last picture is of the 5870 X2 top, not the 5870. This one is of the 5870 top.

    Looks interesting, regardless. I'm a little concerned about the 5850's ability to actually vent hot air from the back, though - it looks like it has very little room to do that.

    The 5850 Cooler sure beats the 4850 cooler...Remember the stock version of that? That little piece of copper?

    waiting for the review.. I heard huang saw the pics and soiled his pants- started whipping his marketing team to go into full bs mode until they can come up with something a hair faster and charge 600 bucks for it XD

    Guys, check what's posted over at xtremesystems!

    I think that looks a tad LONGER than the 5870. I wonder how we are supposed to shoehorn that card into our cases.... I picture two alternatives: 1. Creative modding, 2. 5870X2 edition cases.

    Edit: I think the last pic in there is wrong. It actually says that delivery is in 1-10 working days, and the 5870X2 isn't due until next month or so.
