grrrr, Icehardware has been down since tuesday, and all we hear from them is the exact same thing they have on their website

I think were turning into another Virtual Hideout, we'll probably come back with ice-hardware.net :D

NOBODY EVER use square internet again pls, it sucks.

    Thankyou

Well it's back up... finally :D (on a new ip so I'm guessing they scrapped the old server).

anyway, I thought this was only a temporary server, so im not going to change anything cos when they move it back, ill have to change it all again.

Well, all I can say is it's been.......erm.......interesting.

[sarcasm]I would like to say a big thankyou to squareinternet.co.uk on behalf of the whole ice crew for having such good servers and for the distinct lack of downtime we have experienced[/sarcasm].

Anyhow, we're back up now, and although most of the scripts are buggered things seem to be getting back to normal... until the servers go down again, that is (look at the confidence I have in squareinternet).

Merry damn Xmas to y'all too.

Nightmare... I know how frustrating it can be, honest :)

Judging by your hosts website, sounds like good value for money to be honest - no bandwith limits is truely like gold dust.

I suppose you've just got to take the rough with the smooth as it comes, that or move to a different host and likely encounter a hefty hike in hosting charges..

Very much not impressed by square and their lack of useful information in the downtime but at least we're back now which is something to thankful for I guess :)

Cheese and myself have both gone home for the break (from uni) and I dont think he took his puter (tsk tsk) and I'm on a SLOW 56k connection that I'm paying for so I'm not about much. Oh for the glory of the 1mb/s uni connection ...... cant wait to get back :D:D

Yeah I'm at home, on a pooter with 1/14th of the power of my one at uni and a connection 3000 times slower (umm that's more or less the exact ratio - no exageration, 28k max on my in-the-middle of nowhere modem connection) :( This beast takes about two mins to load IE so there's no way I'm getting ICQ up (sorry for not telling you - tried to post the new on ice yesterday) :(

I'm not sure if the new IP is temporary or not... it could well be permenent (square haven't exactly been clear), so it might be worth getting the news up again...

Right happy christmas everyone, not likely to be here or anywhere for another week and a bit so if you want me email me :)

    Cheers,

    Rob.
