Yup, sounds like it. Again: Bummer. Let's hope the vendor will play ball.

I went directly to Lamptron, not the vendors fault so they shouldnt have to worry about it.
Hopefully they will want to help but hearing all these problems with their finances doesnt leave me very confident.

I wouldn't worry too much. They have a responsibility to help/advise at least. If they get funny, drop in that it wasn't fit for purpose. My mate got his out of warranty tv fixed by using them exact words.

They might be funny as its modded, but they might be ok with that if you can possible get them business by giving positive feedback on here.

How about contacting Christopher Cressey over on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/g1lgamesh?fref=ts)? He used to work for Lamptron - he might have a suggestion or 2?

That man is completely untrustworthy to me,he rigged comps for his friends on Aria, ripped people off.....sorry,i would rather buy a new one than have anything to do with him.
He got banned from Specialtech forum because of his appalling attitude.

Thanks for helping tho Nutman,i do appreciate it. :thumb:

Well, I had heard about this, but never experienced anything bad with him myself. Was worth the suggestion. ;)

After having a conversation with Lamptron Europe, came away from it a little confused...they wont help with this but are willing to sponsor a future build. Seems strange to me that they are doing it this way round. I would rather just get this one fixed tbh, then consider using them for future builds...not the other way around. Nice offer...just back to front.

Its getting closer and closer to i47 and if i have to remake the front panel for another controller,i need to start getting on it....

I'd be confused as well about that, so you need to buy a replacement instead. :(

Ah well, its not the end of the world,i will pull the controller and see what i can fix...if its beyond me then i will buy a new one to cover me for i 47 then rethink my controller options.
 Perhaps the Corsair link kit and do away with the panel altogether?

Must say the corsair link kit is nice, lots of very cool features.. but I dunno.. I still enjoy the textile feel of a good'ol manual control, kinda like volume buttons on a hifi, pressing a button or sliding on a touch screen just isn't the same as grabbing the volume control and crankin up that track.. same thing here, when your temps are a little high you just wanna crank it while giving your machine a look and sayin.. chill out... :D
:worried: maybe that's just me.. :worried:

    Me, I'm totally different.

Whenever I'm using my PC I can't be bothered with keeping an eye on the temps. I simply couldn't care less.

In just want to concentrate on the task at hand and leave it up to the fan controller to monitor everything, to make sure that the temps set by ME NEVER go above the limit set by ME. And if it does so, THEN and ONLY then the fan controller is allowed to disturb me and, if required, shut down the PC, should I, for some odd reason, not be there to do this manually.

I think it could well be the future of control, the Aquaero, which is brilliant but overcomplicated and requires many add-ons to get full functionality, needs competition in this area.
Once some user reports come back positive,I may spring for one but I have not seen any one using it yet...

If i could get it to output to a 7" touchscreen in the front bays then Im sold in a heartbeat!

I get a bit of time to put into my rig for a change!

I have received the XL window form Little Devil and what a difference it makes!

Like most things,it all about the extra few inches...

Rebated window...I like this very much.

    Compared to the old...

And a nice little bent Alu trim piece with a DiNoc covering

Now I am just waiting for a replacement controller so i can bolt it all back together for some hot pr0n shots in the garden....

Thanks to Little Devil for the XL window,I cant recommend them enough...these cases are great !!
