Windows Ssprglchmuy Toolbar

    I get a tool bar called Ssprglchmuy whenever i start my computer it also gives me popups all the time

    anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

    Have you tried Ad-aware or Spybot?

    yea tried em both, i get errors and delete them but when i start teh computer up again the problems still there.

    I had exactly the same thing not long ago, no idea where it came from. I couldn't remove it by hand - it'd nested it's way into my registry so far that only a format could get rid of it.

    It even changes the 404 pages and everything :grr:

    I got a dialler (Optimize.exe IIRC) from a Matrix screensaver download that AdAware didn't then find, though I think the latest definitions have it, so its worth updating. There's a new build out for the latest definitions.

    CTR-ALT-DEL should pick up your program name, then search Google Groups for tips on associated files & killing it. :grr:
