Stanby mode on my comp used to work, when i pressed the power button the comp would basically turn off, all the fans would stop and the lights go out, all that would be left was the power led flashing.
Now when i press it the screen goes blank, but the fans and lights stay on?!
Ive tried messing with the power management settings, but there dont appear to be any.
Any ideas on how i can get it back?

I think in the bios there may be a standby setting with the option of S1 or S3. In the S1 state the hard drive and monitor will switch off but most other devices will stay powered. In the S3 state (suspend to ram) the computer will shut down almost completely. However I wouldn't expect a bios setting to change by itself.

Make sure your computer can cope with suspend-to-RAM standby mode, i know that this MoBo needs at very least 1.5A on the +5VSB line to do it... Maybe if you changed PSU it wouldn't have enough power and automatically turn the S3 standby off...
