Chopped in the Caterpillar and spent the readies on a Super Hornet. Now have a Constellation and the Super Hornet - both LTI.

Intend to get 4 'packages' so I can solo the Constellation with my own crew when I feel like being a loner... Caterpillar melt leaves $60 balance towards whatever comes up next ;)

I just have a Avenger by the way. What are people's thoughts on the Avenger vs 325a since they are the same price.

The Avenger seems to be a hammer to the 300 series multi-tool to me.

The 300's are more maneuverable, has more hard points, more upgrade slots and looks much cooler (imo).
The Avenger can eat more punishment and can carry the single biggest gun of a ship in it's class (so I'm told).

(This all assume's the ship specs page is right btw...)

Ended up having a few more ciders and woke up having bought an Aurora LN LTI (digi scout package) and an Origin 315p Explorer LTI (pathfinder package).

    Pretty sore head as well...

Why are you buying packages rather than just the ships? Are you wanting extra character slots?

Cei, I'm going to pop your post with all our ships on the first page. If we've got it wrong, then do shout!

I didn't include Phalanx, as I think he is part of Black Widow Squadron, is this correct?

How playable is the alpha? Never got onto the kickstarter considering signing up with the digital Bounty hunter pack...

Alpha (dogfighting) is out in December. At the moment we have the hanger module up and running where you can walk around your hanger and explore your ships. :thumb:

No problem, you can keep it updated! ;)
As for Phalanx, I wasn't sure. He seemed to indicate maybe playing for both.

Yeah, just that. With the Connie at least that gives me the option to crew up with my own characters if I fancy a little solo time without forking out for additional crew.

Game is not playable pre dogfighting module in december.

The real game in its fullness is not due pre q1 2015 at the earliest and that date keeps going backwards.

I think we can expect funding to slow soon - there's only 2500 slots left in the Alpha, meaning there'll be a drop of new pledgers. We'll still get the funding upticks when the variants release, but I think $26m may be the lot, give or take, until the Alpha is done and slots open for the Beta.

At $25m they are increasing the number of alpha slots. Additionally, the Freelancer and Constellation sales are yet to come! I'd say we still have some way to go!

Oh, I wasn't aware the number of slots was going up! I did say there'd be an uptick in funding for the remaining variants, which are the Freelancer and Constellation.

Indeed - and just in time, as of time of posting there's only 744 of the original slots left!

Just had a look at the F7C-S and M in my hanger, and they're beautiful. Buggy though - my F7C-M doesn't appear to have landing gear and hovers in mid-air, and the chainguns are on the turret rather than under the wings! The F7C-S looks mighty pretty in black.
