ahhh, yeah thats the official store im guessing, right(i cant go to it because im at work and my memory is trash due to 2 hours of sleep). I have checked that out. I dont remember seeing any of those digital bonuses, which is kind of a bummer, I was looking forward to the digital map :S

Digital Star Map still available on : Cutlass, 300i, 315P, 325A, F7C, F7C+, F7C-S, F7C-R, Freelancer, Freelancer+, and Avenger Game Packs. Interestingly enough it's not listed for the Constellation...

The store link err... links to a "Game Universe Map" whereas the packages list "Digital Star Map". Could they be the similar maps but of different levels of fidelity?

They're the same thing, just renamed slightly. The old naming was the "Star Map", but was altered to the Game Universe Map when the new site launched. They've obviously just not updated the package text.

The Constellation's package lists a "Glossy Fold-up Star Map".
I'd imagine along with the physical copy of the map, you'll also get a digital download included with that.

Nope - you get the physical one. You'll need to add the digital one if you want both. Saying that, why would you want both? There's going to be a map of some kind built in to the game anyway...

Good job guys, looking forward to having more info to ponder :) I'm raring to go and have 100% free time currently (uni issues), its a shame the game isn't released yet :p

Looking forward to seeing what sort of plans/ideas came out of the discussion.

It could be useful to have both if there was any scope of the universe map changing as the game progresses.
I guess depending on how the game utilises multiple monitors, it might be good to have a digital map outside of the game on a screen.

Not sure if I've missed it, but did they ever talk about how they're planning on doing their multi-monitor support? I recall it being one of the early stretch goals, but can't trace any further information beyond it being a target for the launch.

From the $4.5mil stretch goal: Extended hardcore flight sim controller support: Flight Chairs, multiple monitors, Track-IR, MFD (Multi Function Displays) and more on launch.

There's been a lot of talking of it in various news articles, not read many but recall from early in the kickstarter chatter of being able to customise the HUD around multi monitors.

Pretty sure this section of the 1 year anniversary live stream mentions Multi Monitor support:

    To quote myself:

"Deadbolt continues to sit in the corner nodding his head and occasionally mumbling 'Yeah'" :thumb:
