That's just crazy. I agree that Episode 1 and 2 were lousy, but there is no way they ruined the repuatation of the original Star Wars movies. For me, problem in Episode 1 was Jar Jar Binks and Anakin as a kid. Even though it is important to know how Anakin came to be a Jedi, they should have had a small portion of the movie dedicated to this and the rest more like Episode 2 (him becoming a Jedi, etc). Episode 2: too much romance. I watch Star Wars for the action, not to see Anakin & Padmé get it on. I think Episode 3 will be much better than the first two, just because of the way the story is developing. It is undoubtably going to be action packed, and Anakin turning evil...who can't not like that!? I enjoyed how the trailer combined footage from the earlier movies.
Hmm, there's some interesting stuff in the trailer. Padme with buns on her head, a stardestroyer in the background, C3P0 and R2 on the rebel cruiser and is that the emperor with a lightsabre?
TBH deep down thats all we care about, after they have finished, they have to make a prequel to the bi-trilogy (is that a real term, I just made it up) and have a film of how yoda became jedi, and him training/in his prime as a fighter not a thinker tbh... how.cool.would.that.be... - M@

I think the record is actually something along the lines of "longest fight scene between two characters," but don't quote me on that! Should be a fantasic duel, regardless. -monkey /edit/ Poking around the 'net is looks like movie geeks have already found a number of examples that go on longer than the reported 12 min. (Just about any kung-fu movie and Kill Bill's House of Blue Leaves fight scene being good examples)
tbf i actually read somewhere that its only the longest lightsabre duel in any movie! Funny that because its only limited to 6 movies! But it should be class anyway! Cant wait! Only 6 months to go! -A-
