What I have taken from that is that the planets will be largely as we have seen in reality. The vast majority will be barren lifeless lumps of rock and ice, only good for plonking down an automated mine or something for resource collection whereas VERY few will be in the "goldilocks" region of their system and be capable of supporting life. I am not expecting to see much in the way of life and activity on most planets, quite possibly a lower percentage than we have seen with the planets in NMS. Of course, I do hope that the procedural generation will allow for the odd outpost to be popping up here and there as well as a very thin sprinkling of easter egg type things.
New deep dive into Starfield gameplay. For any of you that like me was hopeful for Star Citizen, Bethesda are answering the call! Also shout out to Introversion's The Last Starship. In alpha and being developed like Prison Architect with regular updates.
A reminder that it's Bethesda and everybody should wait until at least 6 weeks after launch to see if the game actually works or not. Or to quote Bethesda's CEO. "It's just works,"
I would 100% agree with you but now it's probably only 95% Maybe now being owned by MS they may have been whipped into line on that front. A little at least.
There used to be a lot of moaning in forums, about Skyrim's bugs but, I saw little, most notable being mammoths dropping from the sky. The only serious bugs I encountered, turned out to be caused by addons.
Zero cost to try for anyone who already has game pass though. And looks to be a play anywhere title, so you can jump between console and PC on the same save.
This is the only game that's really piqued my interest in quite some time. I do hope it turns out to be good.
The 6800XT is hugely superior to the 6700XT. It is also hugely superior to the 6800 non XT. In fact, in many situations the 6800XT is as fast as the 6950XT. Talking of which, the 6950XT may be available to you at a amazing price. Not sure where you are located but if you can get one they offer about the best value for money right now on higher end GPUs.
Curse you /*waves fist at the sky*/ Now you've got me into that thinking that says "well xxx is only another few quid over yyy... oh but now zzz is only a few more over xxx..." I was going to be just looking at the 6700 XT and stopping there... Ah well, whatever I look at will be better than my current 980 Ti...
If you can get a good price the 6800XT is in a different league. The 6700XT is only about as fast as a 3060Ti and nothing more. So that is sub 2080ti performance. The 6800XT on the other hand has been known to rub shoulders with the 3090. Like I say, it's a big gap. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/powe...16gb-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-19u-pc.html Well worth it IMO. Here, for a better idea.
Bought my key yesterday. £45. Didn't go balls deep as Skyrim never pulled me in. Happy to pay for the DLC as and when providing I get hooked.
Nah. I was kinda interested, but they're selling upgrades for a game that hasn't even launched yet. **** that.
So anyone playing this in early access? How are you finding performance? I've watched the GamersNexus video, and I'm slightly concerned that it's going to make my 3070 Ti cry...
