Whoo!!! Anyone else going to be watching the season 8 premiere tonight?? It looks to be one HELL of a good one along with it being 2-hours long!
so far ive only managed to watch the first episode via means of my own undertaking, and its pretty cool... *SPOILERS* Fifth was a bit pissed off eh ? Thors taken a turn for the better, hes more hardcore than ever, and i tihnk a bit of "human" has rubbed off on him, or a bit of tielc at least! Hes so much like him im looking forward to the thrilling conclusion! But as far as premiers go i reckon its gonna be one heck of a show... and PS, the new dr weir isnt as good as the last one! tbh!
Yea, no kidding fifth was pissed! Damn! From what I understand fifth will play a prominent role in the rest of the season. Thor is always very cool What do you mean part 1? It was a 2-hour show.. Did you see what happens with O'Neil at the end?
that episode rocked was as good as 7x22, which was damn awesome i swear the asgard just sit around waiting for people to nearly die then beam them out microseconds before they die asgard timing > *
** SPOILER - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE PREMIER! ** I have to agree that this ep was as good (if not better) than the season 7 finale (7x22).. IMO Stargate SG-1 keeps getting better with each season, so I think this last season will be truly awesome! Anyone have any idea who they are going to use to replace O'Neil on the team since he's been promoted? Carter will no doubt take control of the team since she is a Lt Colonel, but now that O'Neil is a Brigadier General and in charge of the SGC, that leaves SG1 with only a team of 3. Think that Jonas will be back or will they use one of the new recruits from Proving Ground?
I saw it!!!!!!!!!!!! it aired 3 days ago in the USA!!!!! I stopd the house to watch it.. NOTHING happened at home with out my either saying STFU of yes thats fine Now i can't wait for StarGate Alantis(sp?) comming in only 4 days!!!!
i reckon o'neill will just go out with the rest of SG-1 on the important missions hes too damn funny to relegate to minimal appearances like hammond gets/got didnt half the proving ground people die already?
Because of his new rank, O'Neil isn't supposed to go off-base unless it's a diplomatic mission. I don't think that they'll relegate him to minimal appearances, however, I do believe that there will be more eps focusing on "eartly" matters like the handoff of Stargate SG1 to the Atlantas crew. No one died on the Proving Ground ep.. It was all a training exercise for those 4 recruits.
One of the chaps from Proving Ground died when the Tok'ra base was bombed/taken over by Jaffa, an episode or two later. Lantash tried to save him by blending with him, but they both died anyway later on. Lieutenant something.. forgot his name.
it was 2 episodes back to back. im not in america so to see it i have to improvise. Not half was fifth pissed. I hope he killed the rest of them. Thatd show them *******s! I havent seen the last hour yet, or hour an a little bit! so none of the second part have i seen! until tonight hopefully
Ah yes, that's right (it was Elliott).. So scratch that one. I also know that the actress who played Satterfield (Grace Park) is the same person who plays (I think) Boomer on Battlestar Galactica, so I assume she wouldn't be on SG-1 either. That only leaves Rosen (the junior Carter) who's actually been on a few eps from that group. I ain't tellin what happened!
ur a bunch of lucky buggers, i only saw the final ep of season 7 on saturday! i didnt think the 8th season had been filmed yet, and more importantly whens it coming out on dvd?
oh... my... god... *SPOILERS* Carter = replicator!!!! This is gonna be the series to talk about, this will be THE... Series! replicators with shapes of ships, shapes of form. A leade.r There set to become a major player, if there major, the asgard are major. ET AL ET AL ET AL! We may be seeing less of jack! BUT OMG, this is gonna be the best... series... E-V-E-R!
Actually, the Carter that's on Earth who was just promoted is the real Carter - the one on the ship is the replicator However, I do agree about this being the best season - I said it before and I'll say it again, SG-1 gets better and better with each season!
I sooo agree now i just need a job so i can start collecting the box sets before they get discontinued or something. I'm glad that they got rid of the civilen running the SGC though. I knew that wouldn't last long. And i can't wait to see if they even give voice as to how they cover up the 10 or so ships blowing up in lower earth orbit / the north pole.
yeah, but you all know what i mean when i say carter is a replicator and yes, i partly agree its only gettign better with age. Lost City II, These 2, the s6 finale "Full circle" have all been excellent, but there are some good classic like "Shades of Grey", "Windows of opportunity", and one o fthe all time bests... "The Fifth Race". Generally if the asgard feature/mentioned, the episode should pwnzzzzeeeennnn!
Most definetely one of my faves Haha... Yea, I totally agree -- I'm also a BIG fan of the eps with replicators.
