    I've had a Steam account for about 7 ½ years and, starting with Skyrim, have bought 6 games. I suspect any loyalty scheme is not going to benefit me very much...

    While Steam could certainly use some loyalty rewards... still plenty of unknown factors:

    Unknown if it will be a permanent and universal thing or just another gamification of the headline sales.
    Unknown if it will be retroactive for the purchase history or not.
    Unknown if and how it will impact on loyalty discounts developers can already do (like for example the Bioshock Remasters being free for owners of the originals).
    Unknown in what year it will launch (Valve time is a meme for a reason).

    Stamps, stickers, hats, badges, cards, virtual knives, and other tchotchke. Shove all the existing Skinner boxes into another matroska Skinner box!
