    thats the effect I could see in the wood! Looks good! should go satin or matt over gloss to add to the old look!

    Well. I completely forgot about the external USB slot. So yesterday, I did something like this:

    As suggested by somone a USB hub will be an external device. So I needed to add a "leg" and copper braid on the cable.

    Looks very nice! i love the contrast between the darker and lighter wood. And I cannot believe nobody gave you any stars yet - here, have some!

    Today I've made some modifications to the dvd drive

    As you can see when you press the curved "wire" it's opening cd bay.

    In the second bay I will probably put the disk. For tomorrow I have time for reflection, whether it is better to put there, drive or DVD recorder:)

    Insane. Utterly insane. Massively cool as well, mind... But just insane. Prev poster is right, it looks like it belongs on an old ship, next to the wheel!
