Super Mario Bros. 3. It has some real quality of life improvements over the original, while the second is either rock-hard or not actually a Mario game depending on whether you get the Japanese or western release. Or go all the way back and try Mario Bros., which is a fun single-screen arcade game and Mario's first outing. (No, pedants, Donkey Kong doesn't count because he wasn't called Mario then - he was called Jumpman.)
Ah yes, Mario Bros, thank you! I think I played this on Gameboy waaaaay back. This first level is the one I've been looking for:
That's Super Mario Bros., the second (third, if you're WRONG and count Donkey Kong) game in the franchise. *This* is Mario Bros.:
Yes, they are often abused. Plan A: use the plug point (sorry for bad grammar in OP) Plan B: a 20 Ah power bank but it'll only charge at 18w, to be tested if it will work, the Deck wants 45w bricks. Hopefully can maintain charge for lighter titles. Plan C: try to get some sleep instead Plan D: at mercy of the in-flight entertainment like a peasant
Got it all set up now Thanks for all the recommendations. Games I've marked favourite that I intend to play - Ace Combat 7 - Assassin's Creed Syndicate (the London one, more interested in sightseeing) - Disco Elysum - Deus Ex mankind divided (played first one, never gotten around to play second) - Dishonoured 2 (played first one, never gotten around to play second) - Firewatch - Mad Max - Return to Monkey Island - Sackboy a big adventure (for my 5yo) - Stray (to play with my 5yo) - Uncharted legacy of thieves collection Plus a few other games just because I have them on Steam and seem to work well - Bomber Crew - Door kicker Action squad - Fable - FTL (there's a good community control scheme) - GTA 4 (to save disk space compared to 5) - Half Life 2 and episodes, Portal 1+2 (they are all relatively small) - Halo MCC (why is Halo 2 so huge.....) - Pikuniku - Prey (there's an official control scheme for the Deck, also sips power) - Civ V (official and many choice of great community control schemes) - Trine and 2 - Worms Reloaded Using Heroic launcher, it was also easy to install from Epic and GOG: - Absolute drift - Rayman Legends - Rocket League - Shadow tactics - Stellaris - TABS - Wreckfest
Grrrrr. Epic store games installed via Heroic wouldn't launch without internet connection. No more AC Syndicate, Rayman legends, Rocket League and TABS. No wonder they are giving games away for free! Such a terrible DRM store.
YEARS! I upgraded to 1TB SSD and added a 256GB microSD card. I was installing pretty much everything I have and trying to fill the device in preparation.
It'll be just like when I have sorted stacks of music for a journey, but then decide after all the sorting and playlists etc I just want to play some old stuff I heard from back in the day because some smell etc jogged a memory on my trip and none of it gets used as I buy something else on the day of travel and find myself looping it
