I've never played Warhead.

Is it worth it?

 

Just bought them. Mankz, Warhead is basically the same game as Crysis but slightly better optimized. If you liked the former, buy the latter...

 

warhead gameplay pacing is quicker then that of crysis, it encourages you to constantly be on the move, i prefered crysis' pacing over warheads myself.

 

Really? I suppose my ultra-cowardly style of gameplay (lots of stealth followed by overwhelming force) means I played both at a super-stealthy crawl. Followed by successive heart attacks. I love FPS sometimes

 

Yeah I played Crysis on the super stealthy most of the time, looking forward to a redo and some flat out run'n'gun in Warhead

 

I automatically did it in an ultra-stealthy fashion too, that's my default mode when possible.

Even in CoD I tend to be a stealth player.

 

Same through and through. I play CoD4 like a sniper, which is unfortunate given how bad I am at using the snipers...

I'm tempted by Warhead, but is the individual offer bringing that down to £10 only till monday too, or is it permanent? I can't see a deadline anywhere.

 

Considering I'm the "run into a fight and try and survive guns blazing" type would I enjoy either? It sounds like the latter may be more enjoyable but can Warhead be played without Crysis or is it an expansion pack job?

 

warhead is a stand alone expansion and doenst require the original crysis to run, you can happily go guns blazing in both games however you must learn how to use the suit first. you also need to be tactical in your takedowns as well, playig it like MW2 will get you killed VERY QUICKLY.

Actually doesn't look to be my kinda thing, too stealthy due to being an Unreal/Quake/HL Fanboy. Good price though.

I just realized the shadows are an epic fail in Crysis when you're cloaked because you still cast a 4 metre long shadow which the enemies apparently are oblivious to..

 

I might of gotten warhead from steam at this price. But as its 15GB, it'd take me ages and use almost half a months download limit.
Also, just noticed its got SecuROM 5 machine activation limit.

 

You can restore the activation limits.

 

Did you watch the vids? Nothin stealthy about it, just damn good application of duck and cover Thats some super quick suit switching GS Can't wait to get back to the island! Gonna be about a month though, stupid pretty Christmas edition Fenrir
