The Witcher 2 has been on my radar for a while and it's dipped below £4 for the first time. How does it stack up against Skyrim? The Witcher 2 has some glowing reviews, however these were all written pre-Skyrim. Given that I own Skyrim and haven't finished it, are the games too similar to make it worthwhile?
I'm very tempted to do the same, considered picking a couple of the newer ones in the past, but with the newest as well for just over £1 a game, I can't see it becoming much cheaper for a looong time.
Very different games. Witcher 2 is not as large or expansive as Skyrim, with very different combat style. It's very much a more plot focused game than any of the massive open world TES games.
GTA 4 doesn't run on my PC.. Load up Rockstar Social Club and then click play and it just disappears. App shuts itself down. Have requested a refund from Valve but I guess it's extremely unlikely to happen. Money wasted BS.... EDIT: Can't reset and renew my UPlay either. GREAT SUCCESS THIRD PARTY SERVICES.
Have you checked the steam forums for related issues on GTA 4? Generally it's possible to resolve. Only had 1 game that flat-out refused to work under any circumstances and that was Shattered horizon. Worked when I bought it but subsequently it doesn't run.
From what I played of it TWII was bloody fantastic. You're going to need some grunt to get it moving on the highest settings though.
Is Simcity 4 still fun? Or should I just wait til the new one's fixed and cheap? Also if you fancy AoEIII you can get the bundle and essentially get II free
That's weird. I swear my version of GTAIV (on Steam) doesn't have the Rockstar Social Club nonsense. Still has the rubbish GFWL, but at least you can just ignore that
Are you on Windows 8? Look it up online as there are workarounds which mean that you can get it up and running eventually...
4 Story DLC and cap increase. You won't get the Mechromancer and Psycho packs if you want those 2 characters, plus you will miss the Creature Slaughterdome (separate DLC, was time exclusive for some seller or XBOX i think, so it was not the part of the base game or everyone) and the various useless character customization DLC.
