Windows Steam won't open - says 'no internet connection?'

Hi guys!

I can’t get Steam to open for some reason! It keeps saying I have no internet connection – I clearly do as I’m online typing this! I’ve tried removing the .blob file, but no joy.

Anyone have any other ideas?

YES! Same! Goddamn EA (or is it Valve?)

 

Steam has loads of connection problems - I get them all the time. Just shout at your PC a bit, it will make the time go past faster. Then force shut down just to show it who's boss. Then storm out of the room and watch some TV. Eventually when you go back, it should work. At least this is what I've been doing.

mine i just ok'd the messege and it connected no problem, strangley it didnt do it today

 

I smell a conspiracy here... EA sabotaging Steam? lol.

I still can't get in, I've pressed ok dozens of times! I can get in on my laptop on another net connection though so its obv not my account....

 

Worked it out.... I only had 11mb left on the drive (my media drive is being RMA'd so have loads on this one)
