Peripherals Steelseries G6 v2 or blackwidow ulimate (need a new mouse too)

Finally looking at picking up a mechanical keyboard since ive wanted one for ages.

I can get the above keyboards for £85 and £95 respectively. Which would yous say is the better of the two?

Also need a good mouse recomendation in the £60 or leas range to replace my razed copperhead.

Well, I have a 6GV2 - AMAZING keyboard. I absolutely love it, after coming from a G11.

However, you're kind of comparing two different keyboards. The BW has lights and macro stuff. If you
will ever use the macro stuff and like fancy lights. Then maybe it would be better for you.
I've never liked any Razer stuff myself.

It all depends what you want from your keyboard. Simple working "anti-ghosting"(on PS/2) keyboard
or a lit up, macro-full keyboard. They're two pretty different things.

As for a mouse - Steelseries Xai. No drivers and works amazing. Or a Logitech G400. But obviously
they're very much personal preference.

had a play with the G6 v2 at annother local store, damn thats got a very tiny shift Key. Duno If I could get use to that.

 

Do you need the numpad? If not you could have a look at some ten-key-less keyboards. The Filco's are very popular.
