I am trying to stick a row of LED behind the Blue acrylic of my Parvum case. But I am wanting to stick the light side to the acrylic rather than the already sticky back rear. I have used 5mm tape I got from Ebay but it does not seem to stick very well, bearing in mind that I can only use around half a dozen small squares on the strip.

Anyone any suggestions, obviously I would at some point like to remove any tape that I use. Or is there another method?

I use No More Nails. I've only used the 'permanent' stuff but even that is removable given care and patience.

Edit: Just tried sticking the Permanent version on the front of LEDs. It's a clear but opaque tape and although it diffuses the light (Bright White LEDs) it still allows the light to get through and in fact the diffused light looks good. I assume you're using White LEDs?

No mate blue. What is this permanent stuff of which you posted? But you have given me an idea. If I used clear tape then I could cover the full length of the strip. Doh, I am getting really slow these days. Thanks for the subtle push in the right direction.

EDIT: Just bought a roll of 5mm stuff, will give it a go.

The disadvantage with using coloured LEDs is that they wash out the other colours. I notice you have white sleeving which probably is tinted blue so you might as well as sleeved them blue. White LEDs/Lighting tend to show components in a more natural light.

From my perspective and not shown very well in my images as I am still getting used to a decent camera. The white sleeving looks very white and the blue LED's behind the acrylic really soften the light which was the effect I was after.
