Sigh, I guess I'm not going to get a Zen 3 Threadripper now, so what do do with the mother board? I suppose a cheap Zen 2 32 core will have to do. Any other ideas? It's for folding. I regularly get work units that take 1.5 day on my 16-core system, so I'm just looking to better that. Still struggling along, currently ranking in the 50s in the team. I may have to stop because of the price of electricity now. The gods are no longer smiling.
I would get a basic CPU and Fold on a GPU - your stats would be much better even with a basic card. What GPU do you have at present?
